Hostal Sweet Dreams

Great hostel, clean + great brekky. I understand why some people don't like it but I loved it, I stayed 4 nights all up. It feels like an apartment complex with shared facilities. There's no where to socialise like your standard hostel but you can sit on the rooftop which is really nice. Also to the people saying there's no social vibe; if you want to meet people just start a conversation with people in your dorm? Also, most people transit thru Pana so there's that too but i love Pana!

Really nice hostel. Good location, close to everything. The staff were so helpful, we booked our shuttle to Guatemala City with them. The breakfast is really nice, 2 pancakes with fruit and coffee. I would’ve given it more but our room had a strange smell when we arrived, and the bathroom had no windows so the whole room got hot and damp but that was just our experience

Best bang for your buck in Panajachel. Staff is friendly, breakfast is great, and it’s very wallet friendly. When I come back I’ll be staying here again.
