I strongly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for an authentic Costa Rican experience. Rooms accommodate all your needs to enjoy your stay. The location is great and ensures you will bump into all the friends you make on your vacation as you make your way to the beach to surf. It’s also a plus the Owner is super chill and makes you feel at home. 10 stars! Pura Vida!

Had 1 night to crash in Tamarindo. Not social, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms were dirty. ONLY TAKES CASH!! great location, walking distance to main areas.

Do not be intimidated by bad reviews. Not a snazzy party hostel, but a nice quiet location with all the necessities. Got keys to main gate and room. AC worked great. Staff were nice and offered us games to play and fresh fruit. Location is great. Would definitely stay again. Did not see raccoon or cockroaches as other reviews mentioned. Shower also worked fine.
