Hurricane is your place to meet your new best friends. If you are looking for an adventure, we can show you how to do it. Whether it is taking a trip to the local parks, Sunday Funday on the beach, getting the best coffee in the city, or putting back a drink or two, our staff will help guide you to everything you need to have a good time.
We are located right in the heart of Split, next to everything you want to see or do. We like to say that from our amazing location, you are 'almost there' to any place you want to visit. In a matter of minutes, you can be in the UNESCO Heritage site of Diocletian's Palace, Marjan Hill Park, Bačvice beach, the Green Market, Poljud Stadium, and hundreds of cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops.
We have 24 comfortable beds spread out across three well-equipped dorm rooms in a quiet part of town, and in 2023, newly renovated bathroom/shower areas, and laundry services!! As soon as you walk in the front door, you can see the events and trips we have available. If you are looking for a place to rest and live a story, this is it.
Our friendly staff is always on hand to help you book any trip or tour to all of the best spots in and around Dalmatia, such as Krka and Plitvice National Parks, the Blue Lagoon, the Blue Cave, Dubrovnik, Mostar, and even kayaking and zip-lining in Omiš.
**We are a chill social hostel, and NOT a party hostel. People go to bed and we do observe quiet hours after 11pm. You can start the party here, and then we will show you where to go after hours to keep it going.**

- Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, kettles, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, and free tea/coffee
- Large open common room with TV, board games, card games, books, charging stations, etc.
- Linens, towel, and hand towel included (free of charge!)

- Electrical outlets and USB charge ports on each bed

- Desk spaces, with outlets, so you can plan your travel or get some work done

the staff were AMAZING and great location

I stayed here for a few days. Staff were great and extremely helpful . Location is close to everything you literally walk out the door and are almost in the palace . Bed was not the most comfortable and could use more bathrooms but it’s really just a small hostel . They keep it clean and the perk of having a towel is great .

This was my first hostel I’d ever stayed in and I couldn’t of picked a better choice! It’s location is mere steps away from the heart of split, all the staff there were always interactive, the bed, shower and facilities were exactly as you’d expect from any hostel, the vibe and atmosphere was great there was always someone new with their own story to tell every day. I stayed there for a week, I don’t usually do social situations but by the end of that week I’d talked to more people than I could ever imagine
