The Jetpak Alternative was build from scratch inside a former department store from 1925. We provide the perfect home away from home for travellers in Thessaloniki.
Our modern and spacious pod style beds will give you a decent night sleep and the possibility to charge your Laptop, Camera and Phone right next to your bed.
Generally, we are not a party hostel but as we are located in the famous party area there are plenty of pubs and clubs surrounding us. So if you fancy a night out you will have more than enough options. Techno, graffiti and rats, not for the faint of heart.
If you prefer to stay in and chill you are more than welcome to enjoy the sunset on our rooftop with fellow travellers.
Jetpak Alternative is brought to you by the HOSCAR award winning staff of Jetpak Hostel Berlin. We are a family run business.
We are known for our friendly staff, amazing Hostel experience and cleanliness.
Since our beginning we pride ourselves to be a LGBT friendly hostel and a safe place.

Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival.
Check in from 15:00.
Check out before 11:00.

Highly recommend this hostel! One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a beautiful building with spacious rooms, high ceilings and unique tiles. The bed is very big, comfortable and there’s a lot of floor space to pack your bags. The location is perfect as it’s near all the main attractions, food places and bus stops. The showers, floors and beds are very clean. The first floor lounge is nice and homely, with some fresh fruits and jams available - such an very inviting space to chill and eat. Most notably, the owner is very hospitable and sweet. She provides all guests with free coffee from her espresso machine and is very attentive when guests need help.
My only comment is that I wish there was a microwave or stove!

Super clean, calm, amazing location, great rooms :) Gülnur is an absolute angel and made my stay even better. Would highly recommend, I will never stay anywhere else when in Thessaloniki.

The bed are comfy and it’s a huge plus that the top bunks have stairs! Everything has a new and modern feel to it, and the staff working there has been so helpful and lovely.
Unfortunately, a lot seems very unfinished. The rooms have no curtains, so when you have a bed next to a window people can basically watch you sleep from the street. The reception are is basically just two desks in the middle of a massive empty hallway of an apartment complex, which has a very uninviting feeling to it. No proper commo
