Chale Mineiro is the only hostel with swimming pool and ideally located near all public transportation buses and metro station at 300 meters in the city. The hostel is perfectly located in the centre of the city. If you have a young spirit, like to meet other people and cultures come stay with us and make new friends, meet new people from all over the world. We also have kitchen, laundry and iron for guest use. In this way, you feel at home and still save on your stay and can have much more fun in the bars and tours that our city offers. Free breakfast is served daily. All this for a very affordable price.
Hostel Chale Mineiro is ideally located near a bus stop, a metro station and surrounded by cheap restaurants. The hostel is located in Santa Efigênia (central district) where there are many concert halls, bars and theatres. We are also close to Av. Contour, Brazil and Shopping Boulevard.
We have 64 beds distributed in collective rooms, single, double and family. Our rooms have ceiling fans, individual closets.

Though it was a quaint place, and the staff were very friendly, I wouldn’t choose this as my first place to stay if back in BH. My room was next to the road and it was extremely noisy all night. Also, during the night there were quite a few ants on my bed (there wasn’t a trace of food). The vibe of this hostel wasn’t very hostel-like either. It may be because there weren’t very many other guests while I was there. The best thing about this hostel for sure though is the friendly staff.

This hostel was so cute and cosy and felt just like I'd come into a family home! I arrived really early after an overnight bus and they let me check in to my room before the check in time so I could nap. Staff didn't speak English (not a criticism, my fault for coming to Brazil and not speaking Portuguese), but they were so helpful, kind and welcoming! The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept on in a hostel, I struggled to get up in the mornings. Would stay again if I'm in Belo Horizonte.
