Barefoot Kuata Island Resort is located on Kuata Island, part of the Yasawa archipelago chain of islands northwest of Fiji's main island of Viti Levu and is accessed daily from Nadi & Denarau using South Sea Cruises/Awesome Adventures Fiji's ferry service. The resort is located on a white sandy beachfront offering both low & high tide swimming in the clearest of warm waters. Breathtaking Yasawa views looking north from Barefoot Kuata Island Resort are characterized by dramatic volcanic peaks jutting out island after island.
All beachfront bures (rooms) showcase their stunning location and incorporate elements of traditional Fiji design and building materials. The resort features a swimming pool, walking tracks with snokelling equipment, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, Wi-Fi and daily scheduled activities included. Barefoot Kuata Island Resort is renowned for its snorkelling & diving with sharks experiences. Guests can join snorkelling with reef sharks tours or for the more adventurous both certified and non-certified divers there's an unforgettable wow big shark experience 'The Awakening Shark Dive'.

Check In / Check Out Times:
• Check-In is at 1.00pm (1300 hours).
• Check-Out is at 10.00am (1000 hours).
• Late checkout is available on request and subject to availability. A guaranteed late check out will be charged at 1 nights’ full rack rate.
• In the case of early arrivals and late departures, 1 extra lunch will be charged at FJ$30
• All Rates are in FJD. A 3.5% card fee will be charged for payments made by credit and/or debit card.
Rates quoted are for accommodation only. A compulsory meal package inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner will be invoiced on the island at FJ$119 per person (12yrs +) or children aged 4-11yrs FJ$60, per day (pricing valid until 31 March 2023).

I cannot recommend this place enough! You have access to snorkel equipment, kayaks and paddle boards. I saw an octopus and a reef shark snorkelling right off the beach. There are marine biologists to teach you about conservation and the marine life. The staff was so friendly and make you feel right at home. A beautiful place and the best hostel I ever stayed at!

Had a wonderful time at this resort it really made our Fiji trip. The food was tasty and plentiful. Buffet style for breakfast which included an omelette stand, buffet style for lunch, and you picked off of a menu for dinner. The staff were really friendly and always in a positive mood. Lots to do during the day with a schedule of activities that changed day to day. Stunning snorkelling just off of the shoreline. The resort has three beaches that have lots of hammocks and beach chairs.

I loved my stay at Barefoot Manta. Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff were incredible. Plenty of activities to do to stay busy and I met some amazing people. A beautiful place, didn’t want to leave.
