Hostel & Garten Eden is an alternative hostel in Leipzig.
Each Room is designed and made by a different artist collective.
Housed in a former dormitory that was home to apprentices back in the 1950's, we've given this old building a new 'old' purpose - giving people a place to sleep.
The charm of the old low rise building of former East Germany combined with rooms designed by various artists make the Eden a special place to stay. Not to mention our big backyard where you can relax and enjoy the sun during your holidays. At Hostel & Garten Eden you will find comfortable accommodation, a guest kitchen, a huge terrace and lounge and free WiFi.
We're located in the west of Leipzig - a quarter which is known by its many galleries and his cultural life. We're 15minutes from the city center away.
At Hostel & Garten Eden you will find dormitories and double rooms. In each room you find your comfortable bed, WiFi access as well as facilities to store your luggage.

Cancellation policy: 24hours before arrival.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 12:00 .
City tax is not included.

No curfew.
Non smoking.
Passport has to be showed at the check-in.

Stayed one night in the 8-bed dorm. Mainly missed curtains for the light. Hardly met anyone. I appreciated the kitchen for its utilities and cleanliness, and the person in the reception for her friendliness and recommending where to go for a swim.

Such a lovely hostel! Beautiful garden, cool dorms, lovely bathrooms and a great kitchen. About 15 minutes from city centre, cool area, walking distance from lost of cool things.

I only stayed at the hostel for one night but it was a very pleasant experience. It’s quiet so I actually had a whole dorm to myself and the beds are very nice since they are pods with curtains, making you feel like you have a lot more personal space. It is located outside the centre so it takes a while to walk in but is really nice if you want a more chilled out time. The hostel is very pretty and perfect to just sit around. The kitchen is also so nice, I made my own dinner and felt so at home. Not incredibly social but, like I said, very easygoing.
