Star Hostel is located in the ‘City Museum’, a historical part of Kutaisi, the oldest city of Western Georgia. This is also in the very centre of the city, 37 Tamar Mepe St. The central square, park, restraints serving traditional Georgian food, bars and nightclubs are all within easy walking distance (about 3 minutes walk).
The hostel has 9 rooms (1 twin suite, 5 twins, 1 with four beds, 2 with eight beds), 5 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. It also has a hall with television and offers free WiFi. The price is 12 USD per person including breakfast.
At the moment we have an offer – 100 grams of traditional Georgian strong alcoholic drink “Chacha” free. There is a car park next to the hostel and 24 hour parking costs 1 USD. We also offer our guests bicycle rental services (24 hours – 3 USD), transportation services and tour organization.

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

They say that there is free breakfast, but there is nothing at all. I am not sure what to think about this hostel. On one hand, it has amazing beds, with curtains (top and bottom), sockets, lamps per bed, and a nice common area. On the other hand, the showers are inside the toilets, so if one showers, the toilet gets wet and the floor is flooded. And from one toilet seat a piece is even broken off and pokes in one's butt.

Not at clean at it should.
Staff looks dead.
Place, really so so.
If it was supposed to be bed and breakfast, it was not at all. They didn't have any, even, tea. Nothing

The staff was really nice, but I did not like that you could not lock the door of the room. I mean the fact that there were lockers made it better but still it made me feel unsafe. Also it was really loud during the night, so I was pretty restless. The beds are also extremely unpleasant
