Our boat access-only property boats 3 private beaches and a 130-acre primary rainforest reserve on the border of the Corcovado National Park. We offer dormitory-style accommodations as well as private rooms. We are located in one of the most remote areas of Costa Rica. If you are looking for nature and adventure this is the place for you. This place is a paradise for people looking for raw untouched nature. All of our facilities are located on the beach. Find waterfalls and sea caves, go on night hikes, pick exotic fruit, and boat to Cano Island for the best snorkeling in Costa Rica.
In addition to our incredible guided tours, you can explore the rainforest on your own. We will provide you with a trail map of nearby beaches, waterfalls, and even a bat cave that comes alive at dusk. Our daily menus offer guests a wide variety of tasty options including freshly caught fish from our bay. Many of the fruits and veggies are freshly picked from our gardens by our chef with over 30 years of experience in gastronomy!
We offer personalized tours to the Corcovado National Park, Cano Island. We also offer Horseback riding, tree climbing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and surf lessons.

Location is stunning and I saw toucans and capuchin monkeys without even leaving the dorm room. There’s a secluded beach an easy, 5 min hike away with a waterfall and sea caves. HOWEVER, meals were EXPENSIVE ($11-$18 for meals that were not particularly filling or delicious) and you’re forced to eat there because it’s so remote. The manager (Frederico??) was openly rude to me and to the staff in front of me which was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Other staff were friendly and helpful though. Not fo

The food was embarrassingly overpriced. We watched every guest order $12 pesto pasta because it was the only thing under $20. And even that was horrible. Staff were rude and inattentive. I asked to buy a coffee advertised on the board and they said no, only to see staff drinking coffee in the back. We liked the dorm and had an amazing trip to Canó island, but note the water taxi there is $30 dollars each way pp. Beautiful setting but ridiculously overpriced food and no kitchen.

By far one of the coolest hostels I've stayed at on my trip. The hostel is a 30 minute boat ride south of Drake Bay. Secluded and peaceful with many activities that you can book. Lots of hiking that can be done on the trails behind the property (I think I ended up hiking about 10km during my stay). The food was excellent, albeit more expensive than typical food around Costa Rica. If you're bringing your own food, make sure it is well sealed as there are insects that will try to get inside it.
