The Launceston Backpackers is really good! Good location, clean bathroom and dorm, quiet at night. Will stay there again if I come back to Launceston.

I would never recommend this place. I felt very unsafe here. I checked in late and they just taped an envelope with my key and the door code in it to the front door. Literally anyone could have gotten in using that. also there are a series of back doors which we're left open almost all of the time. the entire time I was there I never saw a staff member. everyone there was super shady and whilst I was staying there someone had their wallet stolen. even the Launy arthouse is better! Avoid this one
