The Dragonfly Hostel Cusco is located in a unique neighborhood situated in old Cusco, 5 minutes away from the fascinating Plaza de Armas.
We aim to deliver to our guests a 'homey feeling', where you can either relax peacefully in our lounge area, or enjoy a drink with the other guests in our lively bar. Our enthusiastic staff always gives their best to ensure you a pleasant experience with us, we are happy to share some of our secrets about Cusco and to recommend you places depending on your mood. We can also assist you for any tours or trek in Cusco and its region, Macchu Pichu included.

I stayed in a private ensuite room which was clean but very small. For the same price you could stay in a hotel, but I thought a hostel would be more sociable. However there wasn't a social atmosphere at all, people only socialized with those they came with. The evening activities didn't always run, without warning. The food could also be better value/larger portions.
On the positive side, the staff were nice, the location was good and there was a free luggage storage. The best part of staying here was the

Pros: cheap, good location, hostels next door to the hostel are 30% cheaper. Good breakfast.
Cons: Everyone is smoking inside instead the hostel, staff come into the dorm and turn on the lights during the night, tour booked in the hostel sometimes no show, No filtered water which means there is so much plastic waste.
