At the hostel there are 120 cabins ensuite(singles, twins, triples and quads). We also have some backpacker cabins with toilets and showers in the corridor. The bed linen, towel and buffet breakfast is included as well as morning sauna in all prices.
In the hostel lounge our guests will find TV, daily newspapers, small library, kitchenette (NB! no stove) and baggage room. Free wireless internet access.
At the reception we sell tickets to the Bore museum exhibition (discount price for hostel guests) aboard as well as HI-membership cards.

The room is cabin, so can feel the cruise ship swayed on the sea.
Breakfast was nice.
Just a little expensive.

A cruise ship built in the 1960's part of the maritime museum and now used as a hostel. Different options available including en-suite bathrooms. II went for simple cabin with shared bathroom. Breakfast was included in the deal and made it good value. Served in the ships dining lounge, the buffet breakfast great. Cereal, bread cheese, cold meats, boiled eggs, orange juice, tea, coffee. Very handy if you are catching a ferry, the terminals are close. Self catering just microwave and fridge.

It’s a good idea, just not ready for prime time. Facilities were not yet open or clean such as common areas. When I made my own bunk, I found a used condom under the skanky mattress. Yuck! Someone stole my meal from the kitchen even with a label on it. The boat lost power during the night, lights awakened me when the power was restored but no hot water for a shower before my long flight. Keep trying, it’s a great concept
