Harmoni Hostel e Pousada

The hostel is in a perfect location, right in the heart of Abraao. There was a great and welcoming environment from the staff (who really went out their way to provide helpful tips - the owner was a tour guide for many years so he has helpful nuggets). It was also a very social environment and I hung out with a local crew that adopted me into their group.

I had problems from the start at this hostel and ended up leaving before the end of my reservation for a nearby hotel. I arrived a bit early on the day of my check-in and was unable to leave my bags there because the gate was locked and staff didn’t respond to my calls. I successfully checked in later that day and found that I was the only guest staying at the whole hostel. I didn’t get a key to lock the door to my dorm, and didn’t sleep that first night because of noise from the house next door

Where can I start with Harmoni hostel... I can start with JOSÉ. The best hostel owner we have had the pleasure of meeting in over a year and a half of traveling. An absolute delight, so welcoming and can't do enough for you. Made us coffee every morning and offered us fruit and juice and even shared meals with us which was fantastic. Thank you Jose and Harmoni, we cannot reccomend him enough!
