I liked Newton Lodge, and even though I sometimes wished it was closer to the city centre I also liked that it was in a quieter area (though the sketchy street itâ€™s on scared me a bit at night - I also really struggled to find it when I first arrived!). Staff were lovely, and bathrooms super clean and convenient. Rooms are a bit grotty but they do the job - I did however love the little baskets hanging from each bunk! Very useful. Thereâ€™s not a lot of kitchen storage space, but lounge is nice.

Very clean, comfortable beds with quiet frames that donâ€™t squeak. Small kitchen, location is very central but near a sketchy road so wasnâ€™t the nicest to hang directly around the hostel. Nice individual bathrooms tho!
