Verandahs Parkside Lodge

Verandahs operates from two stylish 1900s villas nestled in the heart of Auckland between the city centre, K Road and Ponsonby Road, Auckland's hippest boutique shopping, restaurant and bar area.

Offering double and queen ensuites, double, twin, single, five bed dorm and three- and four-person share rooms, it is suited to almost any kind of traveller.

Large clean kitchens and bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay and common areas provide the excuse you need to meet your fellow travelers.

The large verandahs provide stunning views of Auckland Harbour and Ponsonby and the spacious garden extends out onto Auckland's oldest park, making Verandahs the ideal place to relax, unwind and plan the rest of your travels.

Unfortunately our hostel is not suitable for children under the age of 14

There is free street parking from 6pm to 8 am, alternatively you may pay to park on the street for $2 each hour for the first 2 hours and then $4 per hour after that till 6pm.
If you are arriving into New Zealand, we suggest you pick up your rental car on the day you check out.
It is an easy walk into the city from us and we have the inner and city link bus stops close by.
