More a homestay than a hostel. There are things that need attention. The door buzzer doesn't work so the owner can't be called to the door for new guests. I had to let one couple in and I think two others went away because they couldn't make contact. The 1st floor shower - the rails are falling off the wall. The sink tap is not secured to the sink. No towels were provided. Breakfast is pancakes, if you were staying there some time you might like something different. While I was there no WiFi.

Location is only good for train station. No AC, a little too cluttered. Host is nice but temp one night stop for train would be suggested.

If you like this style (old house full of things), it's great. I was the only guest in the room and it was very quiet and I could sleep well. I liked that I had time and place to sit down and work quietly with the computer. It's close to the subway and to shops. No lockers, but it felt safe. You live with the family there but they have separate rooms. Minor issues: bed a bit small, toilet door still doesn't close.
