Day Hostel

very nice and convenient location

Booked for 4 nights, left after 1 - possibly the worst place I have stayed in 6 months of travelling. Firstly check in is a nightmare with one reception managing the 10 or so 'guesthouses' the owners actually control. Don't expect any decent customer service either, I was shouted at and just asked for money. Then I was led to my bed which wasn't even fresh/clean and seemingly only given to me as it was the only free one in the room (which looked nothing like the pictures attached). To top things off there was no hot water and the wifi only worked when standing in the corridor. Do yourself a favour and pay a bit extra for one of the independently ran hostels in Hong Kong that actually take pride in their appearance and service. Simply awful and I don't think Hostel World should accept this dodgy practice of advertising multiple properties in the same building that in no way reflect the experience while staying here. Awful.

The Location is really great Subway is near from the Appartment also the Sea and the ferry is in Walking distance and also value for money is also good But the whole 17th Floor where the Appartment is located smells disgustingly. Terrible smell Till you get down to the 16th floor where the Elevator is located NO ELEVATOR to 17th Floor Water came in the flat from outside when it was raining through air conditioning device Without AC our room smelled like mold and the bed sheets were dirty
