A pleasant place with friendly, easy-going staff, second floor over a wonderful restaurant. This is the second time I've stayed here and when I return to San Jose, I plan to stay here again.

Decent hostel for the price. Very loud tram outside that starts at 5am but with earplugs wasn't a huge issue. Okay kitchen, living room and a small balcony. Didn't seem particularly social, but we were in a private room. We booked a double bed but we're given single beds. Lots of termites in the room, so we had to buy bug spray. Miscommunication meant they came to kick us out when we had another night left, and it took a while to resolve, and they tried to make us pay again. Flor was friendly.
