the best, everyone is super friendly, you feel at home, theres a nice park near the hostel. location is not that big of a problem, its either a nice morning walk to the city or a quick bus drive. they even have a cat!! :)

One of the best hostels I have visited. It is located few kilometers from city center, but I wouldn't say it's a problem, because of cheap public transport and possibility to borrow a hostel bike (but only three are working). Atmosfere was really friendly and the staff was really helpful. There are lockers, good equipped kitchen and they will wash and dry your clothes for 25 zlotych (6 euro).

Great hostel with cozy atmosphere and laid back staff as name suggests, comfy beds and all you need for breakfast and awesome common areas, they even hosted a BBQ night which I unfortunately couldn't attend due to my very short stay but I'll keep this one in mind and will come again once I'm back in Gdansk! The bus takes you to the city centre within 10mins so you get all the advantages of a suburban hostel with a garden and a beautiful park nearby without missing out on activities in old town
