Gairloch Sands Youth Hostel

Great hostel across from Loch Gairloch.

This must be the best located hostel in Scotland! We stayed for 2 nights, each of us in separate dorms. We booked very last minute. I love the location, literally a skip and a hip from the beach. The lounge looks out onto the sea. It's so tranquil. The furniture is very tasteful for a hostel. Loved it! The dorm rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom facilities were clean and adequate. Kitchen facilities also great. Great selection of drinks at reception. Staff friendly too!

I recently stayed at this hostel and was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable facilities. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout feature, allowing for convenient meal preparation. The lounge had a fantastic ambiance, creating a welcoming and sociable atmosphere. The cleanliness and tidiness of the hostel were exceptional, making for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy and provided a good night's sleep. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel!
