This is the ultimate area to stay in for all people coming to Johannesburg, this is if you want to have an experience that reflects the cosmopolitan, multicultural ethos of Johannesburg.
It offers you the opportunity of visiting normal and alternative shopping complexes that host a myriad of different kinds of entertainment this includes the famous Rosebank Craft market open on weekends and open daily the Tourist Center, African Curio Market, the art Nevoux Theatre, Cinemas, Art & Culture Galleries.
Rosebank Backpacker is our latest creation to become Part of The Lodge & Backpacker Johannesburg Group.
We have had the pleasure of servicing our travelers for more than 9 yrs.
Our super friendly staff will support you and make sure you are secure and safe 24 hours a day.
Rosebank is a very old suburb the ancient flora makes you feel welcome and chilled, spend time on our Patio looking over our Garden with it's 100 + year old trees, enjoying late afternoons there, where you can join other travelers for a drink by the pool or maybe you can braai(BBQ) something to eat, you will find a Tour and Travel desk to an Outdoor Terrace to soak up the rays. Novels can be exchanged, a communal kitchen is open to all, Telephone, fax, WIFI and internet access will allow guests to hook up on line.
Our laundry facilities are on hand - for all those folk who have just come off of safari.
Rooms/dorms are clean, fresh linen is provided, all beds have plush duvets for added warmth.
We have a Boarding house next to the property:

Location on Hostlworld is incorrect. Also, when I input the address in Gmaps, it is also in the wrong place. Took me two hours to find the hostel.

Morning
We paid a deposit and the place was not up to standard as per the photos on the internet. We had to move the guests to another place. Please can you refund my deposit as we did not use your facility.

There was lot of noise at night from the other rooms.The lady in the laundry seems not welcoming.I recommend a thorough renovation of the place.Make sure that the showers can balance nicely in terms of providing warm water. Kindly buy new furniture, especially the beds, those beds are too old. Fix all the plugs in the rooms and make sure that the heaters are installed nicely on the wall,buy or install new wardrobes.The reception area is not clean and welcoming, needs renovation as well.A uniform
