Come and share your experiences in a friendly atmosphere at COAST - Utopy Hostel!

You will stay in an accommodation of a 15-people dormitory where each traveler is independent thanks to our 'box beds' with electrical outlet, individual lamp, shelving, blackout curtains and a locker at disposal (padlock not included).
You have access to our well thought sanitary area where each of our shower has hooks, a shelve and a mirror.
You will be able to enjoy a large cosy living room to read a good book, play board games with your friends, chilling with your laptop with free WIFI or just have a good chat with the other travelers.
The chat is going well but you are starting to be hungry? No worries, we have a fully fitted kitchen with a cooker, a microwave, a boiler, a coffee machine...that you can use to cook your favorite meals! Pots, pans, spatulas, ... everything you need to share your cooking skills!
And do you know the best part of it?
We have big dining tables inside where you can all enjoy the amazing dish you just made!

To enjoy a little bit of sun, you just have to go down the street at la Côte des Basques, the surfer's paradize.
You are missing a snack, you want a drink or looking for a brunch ? Just go up the road! Everything is a walking distance (5 min top)
The big city centre is around 10 min walk! There, you can enjoy the particular architecture of the city with L’Hôtel du Palais, you can enjoy a surf session or just take a good sun bath at all the different beaches in Biarritz.

To eat after a busy day exploring the city, go enjoy some tapas in Port Vieux and then go watch the sunset at le Phare de Biarritz.
You can then hangout at les Halles to have a good time with your friends at a pub and come back to COAST - Utopy Hostel to enjoy a good night sleep in your comfortable box bed.

For sure you have a lot more options to discover the Basque Country, you can go to la Rhune for a hike or explore Bidart, Guéthary, Saint-Jean de Luz, Hendaye and even in Spain at San Sebastian thank to the region’s buses network.
If you came with your car we have free parking in the area but if not don’t worry we are not far from the train station and the airport so you will always find busses to come and see us .
Everything is made for you to enjoy your stay here as much as possible

Cancellation policy:
-5 days before the date of arrival

General:
Reception hours: 9:30 to 13:00
No curfew.
Non smoking.

• In the event of a no-show and no cancellation, the total amount of the reservation will be charged. Staff will also be free to rent the property to other tenants.
• In the event of a shortened stay, the entire stay will be due (except in cases of force majeure).
• Delays on arrival or early departures can under no circumstances give rise to a refund. Transport problems (flights, trains, Uber, etc.) remain the responsibility of the tenant and do not constitute a sufficient reason for obtaining a refund of the reservation.
• To cancel a reservation, the customer is invited to contact the property.
• The cancellation of the reservation is effective upon receipt of an email confirming it.

Use
• Staff will ensure that the property is made available in a condition corresponding to its description.
• The tenant has the right to occupy the house in a peaceful and orderly manner. Upon departure, the tenant agrees to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness as he found it on arrival. All fixtures, fittings and furniture in the inventory must be left in the same place where the tenant found them on arrival. Any repair of the installations resulting from negligence on the part of the tenant will be the responsibility of the latter.
• Under no circumstances can the tenant sublet the property, even free of charge. This would render the rental agreement null and void.
• The tenant may not remain in the property or camp around the property after the expiration of the rental period without the permission of the staff. No modification can be made to this contract without the agreement of both parties.
• Check-in is from 2 p.m. The tenant must inform the staff in the event of a late arrival after 5 p.m. Arrival after 5 p.m. is done independently via Whatsapp, the tenant can go to their room, and their welcome is guaranteed.
• Check-out time is, at the latest, 11 a.m on the day of departure.
• The number of tenants cannot exceed the number indicated on the reservation form.
• Any extras (eg washing machine) must be paid at reception before using the service.
• The Utopy hostel is not suitable for families with children and is not accessible to minors.
• The staff reserves the right to cancel the rental agreement at any time for disrespectful behavior against the rules of the hostel, staff or other tenants.
• For your safety, the hostel is sometimes monitored by surveillance video.
• The presence of animals in the premises is prohibited. Any tenant who does not respect this rule cancels their rental agreement.

Insurance
Utopy hostel assumes no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage of personal belongings of tenants.

Force majeure
Utopy hostel cannot be held responsible with regard to its customers in the event of non-performance of its obligations due to an event of force majeure. Are considered as force majeure or fortuitous event those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of the French Courts and Tribunals.
