248 Street Hostel Koh Tao

Great location for Ko Tao if you want to be right in the middle of the strip and party life. You will hear loud music until 2am but if that’s what you’re after it’s a perfectly good hostel. Space was generally clean but it did feel like it could have used some love. But for the purposes we needed a room for, it was good. Having said that it’s probably one of the quieter ‘party’ hostels as there’s no common room party going on downstairs so could be a great option.

The hotel was in a great location, was right opposite where the bar crawl starts and was also so close to the beach. The only issue was on a night we didn’t go out, the music from the bars surrounding was VERY loud, but that was our choice to stay in that location and to not go out one evening. It felt clean and safe, the bathroom drain was questionable but nothing to stop you from staying there.
