The hostel was nice, especially the staff, who were quite friendly and helpful in making sure the newcomers were supported with anything they struggled with. I remember the first day I arrived there, they offered me a treat such as a flash freeze to fight the heat in Brisbane. Besides that, the hostel got everything I needed.

I’m not one to complain but pay 4$ more to go to any other hostel!!! This was our worst hostel in Australia. The room is completely disgusting, it was like 15 degrees outside but over 30 degrees in our room despite the fans but we slept so horribly. Mostly long term people, a lot of people smoke weed and cigarettes which smells in the hostels even in the shower. The dishes are always dirty and in the sink. The hostel is old and the staff lied to us about the rooms… our first room (#4) smelled like vomit and

Officially the worst hostel we’ve been in the last 2 months… we had room number 5 and people there live long term so you have no room for you things, no electric plug because the long term people take them all. The room is an absolute mess, lots of junk everywhere. The kitchen is absolutely disgusting at night because nobody cleans up after themselves. There was only one employee doing all the dishes which is quite unfair for him. He was so sweet and always smiling! Would not recommend
