A good place for solo travel or who likes social and safety, always have a lot of events, but it’s a big problem that they don’t have hair dryer so we need to spend long time to dry it in the humid environment, and our room had a large balcony, but it was blocked and there was no sunlight and no view of the outside or the pool,

Great place to stay. Staff are super friendly, helpful and fun. Always hosting activities, very social hostel! Very clean too and a great location as everything is walking distance.

Mad monkey is a nice clean hostel with space in the rooms and in the common areas. What I personally was lacking was the social side of the hostel. They did not offer any group trips for the people at the hostel. it also seemed a bit quiet all day untill at 8pm people showed up. Staff was nice but reception lady for example didn't really seem like she wanted to be there much at all:(
Location is great and pool area etc is really nice, I hope that we just happened to visit at a poor time tbh.
