Hakuna Matata Glamping

Juan and staff are incredibly kind and hospitable hosts. I am a solo traveller and needed a break from shared dorm rooms on my travels and the price of this lil paradise was pretty much the same as the Yak or Che hostels when I booked and better. Im so glad I came here, everything was spotlessly clean (both bedroom and bathrooms), the location was perfect- away from the noise but so so close to the lagoon and restaurants, I felt very safe walking alone at night and I would definitely stay again!

Lovely little rustic cabin oasis in the middle of Bacalar town, close to everything you need but nice and quiet. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. Rooms were a tad hot with only a small fan but this didn’t affect our stay. Breakfast at the on-site cafe was nice and reasonably priced. Juan was a lovely host who had some fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

Loved our stay here. The accomodation is clean and has everything you need. Good value for money. Most importantly staff here are amazing super friendly and helpful. We had a really nice and cheap breakfast at the property everyday. Everything is within walking distance, great location. 100% recommend staying here.
