Escape Divers was unfortunately the worst hostel I've stayed at. The dorm room was so packed that it was impossible to walk through without everyone being on top of each other, the beds were rock solid and the toilet didn't flush for the 3 days we stayed there (despite telling staff it was broken). The dorm did not lock, neither did the main entrance to the hostel so anyone could walk in. There was also an ant infestation in my friend's bed and cockroaches on the floor and walls.

This is a budget hostel on an expensive island. It wasn’t great but it’s what you pay for. The social atmosphere was great and made up for some of the other things that weren’t so great

The hostel is located at a distance from Sairee beach. Make sure to get a bike after reaching here. It is too crowded making life a little uncomfortable with having so many people in the same room. The staff is helpful. Cleanliness is thorough. The vibes are good but can be better.
