We are a Beachfront Boutique Surf Camp located in Tamarindo, Costa Rica offering a variety of surf packages. We cater to beginner surfers who want to experience the surfer life without having to adapt to some of the not-so-comfortable surfer norms!

Our guests prefer smaller, more intimate learning groups and social settings instead of spring break style camps, a comfy bed over a hammock, ac and hot water instead of only ocean baths and prefer enjoying the nature and wildlife OUTSIDE of their sleeping quarters.

Iguana Surf Beach hotel offers 1 Shared Deluxe Dorm Room. This Dorm has 8 Single beds in total, all bunk bed style with all the top of top finishings! Trust me, this is by far the nicest shared accommodations you will have EVER stayed at! Top of the line amenities include: AC, Hot Water, Luxury Linens and Towels, 2 Full Bathrooms, Strong and FREE Wifi, Onsite Restaurant Bar, Onsite Grocery Store & Surf & Tours Shop! Honestly, you can get anywhere you need to go by foot! The center of town is just a 5-minute walk, and the beach is literally a 30-second walk across the street! You won't need a rental car or a golf cart to get around and about in town, however; we can reserve one for you if you would like to head out and go exploring:) Just ask!

You are literally just a few steps from it all! The beach, the best surf spot in town, and the center of Tamarindo! Tamarindo is a little surfer town with tons of action! It is famous for its beautiful white sand beach and amazing surf spots. We are happy to boast a community with residents from all over the globe with major influences from the States, Italy, Argentina, and Europe! Enjoy 5 star dining, organic cafes, open farmers markets, souvenir shopping, tennis courts, stunning golf courses, adventure tours all within an hour of us such as white water rafting, ziplining, ATV-Ing, horseback riding, sunset sailing, surf lessons & board rentals and much much more!

Iguana Surf Camp & Beachfront Hotel Policy and Condition:

Payment: Full payment is required and collected upon booking. Cancellation requests made within 60 days prior to the check in date are not eligable for refunds. All other refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that bank charges will apply.
Credit Card Pre-Authorization: Upon arrival at the hotel, the credit card information provided above will be used as a pre-authorization to cover incidentals during your stay.

Liability: Guests agree to be held personally liable in the event that any indicated person, group, company, or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.

Lost or Damaged Items: We reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of rectifying damage caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts to the hotel's property or structure. Charges may be made to the guest's credit/debit card or sent via invoice to the registered address. Efforts will be made to minimize costs incurred by guests. We also reserve the right to charge guests for the cost of replacing items removed from the premises without consent. Charges for missing items will include the full replacement amount, including any carriage charges. Charges will be made to the guest's credit/debit card or sent via invoice to the registered address.

Additional Property Rules

-Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Late check-out is possible, subject to availability, with a fee of $25 for extra cleaning hours and transportation.
-Please maintain minimal noise levels after 8 PM.
-We are an eco-friendly establishment; conserve water and electricity by reusing towels and turning off A/C or fans when leaving the room. Keep doors and windows closed when using A/C.
-Treat the property with respect and follow these guidelines to ensure an enjoyable stay for all guests. Pura Vida!
-Possession or use of illegal drugs on the property is strictly prohibited.
-No outside guests are allowed to visit the property unless written permission is granted by the hotel. For your own safety and that of our guests, we reserve the right to deny access to any outside visitors that are not listed on the reservation.
-Help us keep the beach at the beach and use the outside showers at the surf shop to remove any sand before entering your room.
Do not take room towels to the beach; amazing Iguana Surf beach towels are available for sale at the surf shop for $25 and make a great souvenir.
This is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking on the premises can result in fines and eviction from the property.

By accepting these conditions, I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in a breach of contract, and I may be asked to leave the property with no chance of a refund.
