House of Nomad, Gangtok is a pet and budget friendly backpackers mainly for Digital nomads, Creatives, Explorers, Seekers. The property is located 3km away from the main town.
At the hostel, Volunteering opportunities are available - Dog Walking, Gardening, Cooking, Mural Project, Content Creation, UX/UI Designing, Customer Service, Programming etc. In exchange for your help, you'll be provided with a Free Accommodation, 2 Meals/day and one sighting tour (Visiting areas will depend on the group size) will be provided.
All rooms are equipped with a wardrobe and have attached private bathroom and a bidet, and certain units at House of Nomad have a balcony. Travellers are free to use the Community Kitchen to cook their meals.
Staff at House of Nomad are available to provide information at the 24-hour front desk.
Banjhakri Falls and Park is 5.4 km from the hostel, while Ganesh Tok View Point is 5.6 km away. The nearest airport is Bagdogra International Airport, 122 km from House of Nomad.

Cancellation policy: 5 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 13:00 to 23:00.
Check out at 11:00 Morning

This hostel is absolutely superb, the host Aurilia is the sweetest. She is caring, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. Love the interior works, the paintings on the wall and how the hostel is filled with plants. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge.
As a solo traveller this is probably one of the best places to stay in Gangtok, you may get to meet so many people who can show you amazing places
