Hostal Acuarius Puno

It was really lovely place to stay, the staff were so helpful and accommodating and really helped us feel welcome. it's not full of life, a lot of people are just passing through but the value and the staff made it perfect for our needs.

The hostel is pretty basic. When I made the booking, it says breakfast included but when I arrived, I was told that breakfast (coffee/tea with bread & butter/jam and egg) costs S5. If you make your booking on the app, chances are they won’t find your booking. Run by a family. Nice people. I made a booking for a private room with en-suite bathroom but when I arrived, I was told the room is not available. I got instead a room with 3 beds and en-suite bathroom and assured me I’ll be the only 1.

Staff were super friendly and the property had great facilities including good wifi and actually hot showers. There was a bit of confusion due to me booking via Hostelworld but it was quickly cleared up, we were also given a simple breakfast but I don’t believe our booking included one so that was a nice bonus.
