It’s an old converted hotel. Lovely receptionist and glad free room upgrade with AC which is 24/7. It’s not the cleanest and kitchen facilities aren’t then best but for the money it is pretty good value vs other hostels in town

I stayed here because I had no other option. The other not so fortunate reviews are right. No lockers in the room, no key to the room so it had to stay unlocked all day. No security at all as people were just walking in and out bc of no wristband or identification. The staff were not welcoming and the bunkbeds were smushed together in a small room with no room for luggage. You get what you pay for and it is survivable for 1 night, but I do not recommend.

If you value a good atmosphere don’t go here, the place is falling apart and they don’t even have lockers for your things. The only thing that could have made it worse was bed bugs
