Tieedi Dwellings is our humble endeavour to rediscover our connect with nature. Based out in Darjeeling, our dwellings are a blend of the age-old tradition of earth houses using local resources with the comforts and amenities of a holiday home. If you believe that connecting with nature is a nourishment for your soul, then this is the place for you.

Over the years we have hosted travellers from all corners of the world and we are humbled by the fact that they have rated us the No. 1 Speciality Lodging in Darjeeling as per the TripAdvisor Traveller rankings. We also provide volunteering options where people learn about permaculture while contributing in any one of our projects.

Truly amazing place. If you are in the Darjeeling area, this is a must stay for at least a few days. You will probably want to stay longer and volunteer. Accommodations were clean and comfortable (and in the middle of the forest). Meals were delicious, and you know exactly where the food comes from. Staff and volunteers were passionate about the permaculture project, and willing to share the process and philosophy of sustainable ways of living within nature. Highly recommend!
