Don’t book through hostel world, as the booking does not go through. We turned up and our booking was not on their system. Luckily they still had availability, but make sure you book elsewhere if you would like to stay here. The staff here are amazing and really go out if their way to ensure the best stay for you. Additionally, the view from the balcony is so beautiful and the hostel is right in the centre of town. For what we were paying, this hostel was perfect.

Apparently this is a fake account that does not belong to El sueño de Tansú, we booked for two nights and once there the staff told us they don’t have any control over the hostel publications, they didn’t do anything about the money we were charged by HW fortunately we received a refound by HW directly, about cleanliness they have a lot to improve rooms without keys and a little dirty, the staff always was so kind with us.

The hostel is basic but nice, has a nice view in Lanquin. Our room was abit mouldy and we had a power cut for most of our stay. They have a food menu but weren’t doing food at all when we were there which made it a bit difficult as there isnt much choice in Lanquin.
