Me and my sister stayed here for two nights with Ceasar (the owner). He is an extremely friendly and accommodating host. Breakfast was great and so was the pricing of the selections of beers! Rooms were clean and comfortable and the environment surrounding the hostel is what Costa Rica is all about! Would recommend Luminosa Uvita to anybody.

luminosa was the best hostel we stayed at in costa rica so far! very cozy and chill place, Cesar is such a nice host and always around if you need anything and you get really good breakfast! all in all it‘s amazing what you get at luminosa for such a cheap price! thank you Cesar for everything! pura vida!

Super dope hostel, the staff and owner are wonderful. Two of the cutest dogs hangout there too. Bikes rentals are super affordable and the walk to the beach isn’t bad at all. Highly recommend.
