Radeka Downunder Underground Motel and Backpacker Inn is located in the centre of Coober Pedy, on the town's main street.
The underground accommodation is located between the BP and Caltex Service/Petrol Stations.

We have a variety of Accommodation Dormitory's, Budget rooms and Motel rooms.

Dormitory's are 34 steps down and back up to use Commune toilets and showers.
Some Budget rooms are 34 steps down and back up to use Commune toilets and showers.
Some Budget rooms are dug into the side of the hill and use Commune toilets and showers.
Motel rooms are dug into the side of the hill have there own toilets and showers

Radeka Downunder Underground Motel and Backpacker Inn offers a courtesy bus pick up and drop off at the local airport for Regional Express passengers and travelling pilots.

Secure on-site parking is available, and motor bikes and push bikes can be placed under cover. Communal Facilities Include: a fully equipped Kitchen, TV Room, coin operated Laundry, Souvenir/Gift Shop. Several restaurants are two to five minutes' walk away.

Radeka Downunder Underground Motel and Backpacker Inn is suitable for any age group, nationality, families, couples, singles, friends travelling together, contractors and student groups.As we need time to clean the rooms and the Facility's Check in is normally 2 Pm (14:00) to 9 Pm (21:00)
Check out from the rooms is no later than 10 Am (10:00)
Check out from the property is no later than 11 Am (11:00)
Kitchen TV, Dining Room, Toilets and showers Close 11 Am (11:00) to 12 Noon (12:00)

Please note Reception and the Souvenir and gift shop are open from 8 Am (8:00) to 10 Pm (22:00)
Dormitory's Only $10 deposit on lien as Bottom Sheet and Pillow Case need to be returned to reception and any top sheet, blanket and towels added to the deposit.
So we know which bed/s need clean linen.
