Johnson's Homestay Ecohouseboat is a Long-running guesthouse. Listed on Lonely planet. Recognized by Kerala tourism, government of India. Well established, safe destination. The Alleppey town beach is only 10 minutes walk from the homestay.

Also owns own houseboat. Can organize canoeing, shikara cruises and kayaking tours as well. 5 themed rooms, all ensuite. All rooms have balcony. Large spacious rooms with extra beds. Ideal for groups, family. All rooms have hot water in the bathrooms. Please note that our dorm room is the cheapest in Alleppey and so guests should not expect luxury in this room. The beds have slim mattresses and there are no mosquito nets in this room either. There are no lockers for guests and guest belongings are guest responsibility. But it is clean and the wifi is strong. The Chilli room, is also a budget room and so does not have mosquito nets in them either, though it is also clean.

All backwater trips arranged, if available. Free parking. Free wifi (strong wifi in all rooms). Open for booking 24 hours.

Ayurveda treatment center a stone throw away from the guesthouse. Restaurants close. Swiggy orders. Taxi services.

Alleppey beach is only 10 minutes walk from the guesthouse and town center is 25 minutes walk. Backwaters is 10 minutes drive from the guesthouse, and for those interested in backwater forays, well, we have it all in our guesthouse, including own houseboats.
