cancelled my reservation right when I showed up at the door! Please don't book with them! Terrible

I would definitely not recommend this hostel - the bedframes and linens are poor quality, there’s no reception and the arrival process is not adequately explained beforehand, every door needs the code to be unlocked, the neighbourhood is not great for walking at night and the crowd staying there is sketchy.
I was only staying there for one night but could not have stayed more.
On the positive side: The owner was very helpful & the kitchen is well equipped and clean.

They cancelled my reservation just a few hours before my trip; and I couldn’t flight yo NYC. And hostel world hasn’t given me refunds yet. So Disappointing.
