Brill hostel, staff so good and friendly, free breakfast every morning which is good, always fruit and then usually a toastie or wrap or pancake! Very chilled atmosphere, nice rooftop, good rooms and beds with curtains, location good, close to lots of things, overall very happy with our stay, the only downside is there isn’t a pool. But hasn’t affected our stay :)

I really wanted to like this Hostel with it being within walking distance to downtown ubud. The main reason I’m writing this review was because of the dishonesty of the staff / counter desk lady. Upon checking out, I was shortchanged a couple thousand. I was told by the staff desk lady that the coin change was worth 2000 rupiah each. I questioned it because the coins had ‘200’ numbered but she reassured me that each was worth 2000 only to find out later in my travels that was false. Beware

This is not a social hostel at all, the location overall is good but the entrance is very hard to find at first. I asked if I could do my checkout a bit later on the last day and they said they had a guest coming, but then when asked if I could extend my stay, they said yes. A bit dishonest, in my opinion. Only one shower and one bathroom for 8 people inside the rooms. Very expensive for what they offer.
