Back2Roots Capsules Suits Backpackers Windhoek, Namibia. A subsidiary of Roof of Africa hotel located just next door. All guests have access to Roof of Africa Hotel facilities: -
• Lively Bar with brewed on-site Craft Beers which won the Gold Award for purity law larger and pilsner. A vibrant place to mingle with the locals.
• Full Buffet and Ala Carte Restaurant offering African favourites, German cuisine as well as the famous Asian fusion for the vegetarians. All food are prepared with only fresh ingredients - no preservatives, no additives and no msg. Great for vegetarians with large variety of salads and tofu dishes to choose from.
• Travel help desk: Intercape bus tickets to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Victoria Falls. Car hire. Tours and Safaris arranged.
• Laundry service at only N$120 for 3kg load - washed, dried and folded.
• Airport shuttles arranged. City shuttles and transfers to lodges available on request.
• Currency exchange facility.
• Full sumptuous breakfast buffet or Dinner optional. Restaurant and bar open daily throughout.

• 2 x 8 beds spacious Double bed Capsules; 2 x Quad Private rooms and 1 x Twin room. All units equipped with individual reading lights, charging station, private lockers, quality mattress complete with beddings, towel and locker keys (deposit required).

• Shared facilities: Water saving 'thinking rooms'; separate female/male showers; swimming pool with pool loungers in garden setting, fully equipped kitchen, free tea and coffee, BBQ (Braai) place, dining area.
• 24 Hours security on site with secured off-road parking

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Nice facilities, very clean and friendly staff. But it isn’t a backpackers where you meet a lot of other backpackers. I stayed alone in the hostel. It’s more famous for the hotel than for the hostel.

Very nice dorm room with air-con, wi-fi, comfy beds, night-light and electric outlet. Excellent security. But it's not a hostel. You won't get free breakfast, no organized social activities and it costs about 100-150 NAD more than hostels closer in to the city.

My friend and I stayed at Back2Roots Backpackers for a week. We truly enjoyed our stay here - staff were extremely friendly, rooms/bathrooms/showers were very clean, there was security by the hotel and the hostel, and the location was prime as this is a dining/bar hub in Windhoek. The hostel is right next door to the Roof of Africa Hotel but you can use the pool, which was very nice, dining area, and bar to hang out. Wifi was available in both the hostel and hotel. Highly recommend!
