Darna Hostel & Riad Darna is a small charming hotel, located in the Medina of Tetouan (historic center). This building is a courtyard house of the XVIII century in the quiet neighborhood Souika.
In Riad Darna (Darna means “our house”) we set great value on the fact that you feel like home. For us it is very important that you feel comfortable. That’s why we want to make your stay as pleasant.
Riad Darna is ideally located in the center of Tetuan, near the Archaeological Museum, Medina Area Unesco… Chefchaouene is 28 miles away. The nearest airport is Sania Ramel Airport, 2.5 miles from the property.
All rooms are bright and clear. Each unit has a seating area. We will welcome you when you will arrive in Riad Darna. There is also a terrace with panoramic view where you can sunbathe and relax in the sun of Morocco.

Honestly I was a little nervous because this was practically the only option for hostels in Tetuán. But it was such a great experience and the architecture of the building was gorgeous. The rooftop provided for a great view of city, and the manager/server was so nice and helpful. The rooms were so clean, any time you left the hostel room you would see a someone cleaning the bathrooms or the floor, it was practically spotless. The manager communicated in Spanish with us it was so helpful!

Very clean! They cleaned the floors and bathroom every day (mopping, etc). There's a beautiful terrace/cafe up top and I'd definitely recommend getting their breakfast. The staff was very helpful -- just have cash for the rest of the fee and in Morocco in general since most places don't take card. I paid in euros and there wasn't a problem!

The Riad Darna Hostel is very nice and their staff has been extraordinarily kind! There is a restaurant on the rooftop and I recommend to purchase the breakfast with your stay, as it is excellent and copious. Location-wise it is well placed and rather easy to find! The staff also allowed me to store my bicycle in their other affiliated hostel "Riad Dari" 200m away. I recommend this hostel!
