Located about 285 Km from Guatemala City. 11 Km from Lanquin and in the Valley of Semuc Champey approx. 3.5 Km from Semuc Champey National Park, one of Guatemala’s hidden treasures. We have about 220 meters of River Frontage along the Cahabón River.

Check in from 07:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
After you booked your stay, we will send you an email asking for the payment of the first night of stay in order to confirm your booking. We ask for the payment to be done via Paypal. The remaining balance of your stay will be paid upon arrival by cash.

Incredible hostel. Everyone that works here was so kind and friendly and it made our experience so special. Furthermore, when I accidently left my phone at the hostel when I left town they went out of their way to help get it on a shuttle to me in another city the next day. Unreal and so unbelievably kind! One of my fave hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle, the food is so AMAZING. Ate so well and had so much fun. :)

The most incredible hostel! Loved the family dinners and how welcoming and helpful all the staff were. Been travelling for a while and this place really stands out as had the nicest social chilled vibes. The hostel itself is absolutely stunning and insane value for money. Must stay if you’re visiting Semuc Champey!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Utopia! There weren’t that many guests when we were there and a lot of couples, but it was the perfect place to relax with beautiful surroundings and an amazing view. The communal meals were delicious and not too expensive (e.g. 65q for dinner + dessert and 30/40 for breakfast) and they offered free yoga in the morning (unfortunately we were not able to participate as we were too exhausted and it took place at 7:30am).
