Hair of the Dog, previously known as Xhostel is a party hostel located in the Upscale neighborhood of evksinograd, conveniently located between the center of varna and the golden sands resort area. We are also only a 15 minute walk to beach. Our Hostel is one of a kind and enjoy our beautiful garden and make new friends from around the world. Hair of the Dog means to have an alcoholic drink to cure a hangover. 24/7 checkin! If you arrive after 11pm, just let us know!
We offer two 6 bed dorm rooms with toilets and showers located in the rooms, two 8 bed dorms with shared bathrooms, a 4 bed dorm with air conditioning and shared bathroom, along with 3 private rooms with shared bathrooms. We have 3 common areas and a shared kitchen. Wifi is located throughout the premises.
Come join our super social environment where we specialize in good vibes, great atmosphere and cool people. Tired of the usual holiday? Come and meet new friends, have fun, party hard and never get bored, or relax in our unique tropical garden and then chill in our outdoor area with a cold drink…. We are the closest hostel to the hot springs and Golden Sands: where all the real partying is! Walking distance to great beaches and mineral hot springs. We have fabulous outdoor areas with a wood fired oven, BBQ and lots more.Varna Rocks! Come and find out for yourself!

Check out from 07:00 to 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.

The maximum period of stay is of 14 days.

Had to walk uphill with my luggage to get there, very inconvenient and far away from the city center and most places of interest. My dorm was next to the bathroom and smelled like sewage most of the time. There were bar fights, complete with loud shouting and name calling late into the early hours of the morning. Met some friendly people and the staff was friendly. They brought out blankets when the weather got cold one night.

This is a hostel with a party/social atmosphere run by an amazing couple and great and fun support staff. The rooms and toilets are clean along with common areas. The kitchen I believe lacks the attention other areas get as it’s dirty, unorganised and lacks cutlery, coffee mugs and cooking utensils. In my stay, a number of the staff were sick and I may not have been able to fully experience what the hostel is to offer (this didn’t detract from my stay).

The hosts here are so amazing and the environment is very pro social. They organized group events which were very fun, and have an optional paid dinner, that’s very delicious and not expensive.
The only thing that would make it better would be storage lockers but overall I’m really glad I picked Hair of the Dog to stay at for my stay in Varna
