Elodie and Pierrick are happy to welcome you to the Secret Garden Hotel, perfect location and for families. You can enjoy a large terrace and a lush garden where fruit trees (coconut palms, mango, banana trees ...) and animals of the park (who visit us). A shared kitchen is available to our guests. Your accommodation is located in the center of Cahuita, 125m from the national park and the beach, 180m from the bus station. In addition, we are near to some of other attractions of our city such as Punta Cahuita, Playa Negra and Tree of Life Costa Rica.
We have several types of accommodation options to suit and satisfy the wishes and needs of our guests and travellers. We have in addition several common areas where the guests and travellers can get together and exchange past experiences and future plans. A shared kitchen is also available to our guests.

the hostel itself was lovely, very clean and orderly but the owners made this the worst hostel i’ve ever stayed at. they kicked out a young man at 9pm because he ate before washing up his stuff in the kitchen. they were yelling at him down the street calling him names, it was very nasty. would not recommend staying here purely because of the owners. if they weren’t so horrid this would’ve been a 9* rating!

Absolutely lovely hostel. I dont know why there are so many bad! Really calm chill atmosphere perfect for a relaxing hostel â¤ï¸ one of my favourite hostels in central america and the kitchen was amazing!! Beds where super comfy

I stayed in the 10-bed dorm which is technically only suitable for 6 beds.
There not much space left. No good air at night. This room is simply too tiny.
There is also not really a large common area
but there is a small kitchen which can be used. For longer stays i recommend the private rooms.
It is not far to the supermarkets and the center of cahuita including the park.
