Gente de Más Bnb is a beautiful structure built in an old house of the 1856. It has been renewed preserving its historic style but providing modern and appropriate services in order to give a pleasant stay to our guests. It is a cozy and small place, thing that allow us to offer a better and personalized service. Gente de Más Bnb is the backpacker's ideal place in Puebla!
It is located in Puebla City downtown, just four blocks from the Cathedral of Puebla. The Hostel is exactly in the Historic Center of Puebla City, near to the most important area full of typical restaurants such as the 'Restaurante La Fonda de Santa Clara”, or the “Flavors Market”. The Cathedral is around 5 minutes walking from us. The bus stop is at only 10 minutes from here and you can catch buses to Cholula.
We offer several accommodation options, all of them dorms with different capacities, that will suit the needs and desires of our travellers and guests. In addition, we have several common areas where the guests and travellers can get together and exchange past experiences and future plans.

The staff is really nice but I wouldn’t stay here again. The front door stays unlocked even though it looks locked (you can just slide your hand between bars to unlock it), the bathrooms could be cleaner- maybe fresh paint on the walls! I’d pay a little more $ for a better location. Closer to the zocalo of Puebla is so cute and colorful and the street that the hostel is on is distant and more local. There’s also barely any people staying there so it’s really hard to meet anyone!

Arrived at hostel and told they were fully booked. Why did they accept my booking? Were told we needed to go to ‘sister’ hotel 3 blocks way. We’d just taken a taxi to the hostel as we had many heavy bags. Had to carry our gear to next hostel. On arrival, told we would need to pay more money for a twin room (even though this is what we’d booked). Also the breakfast that was included in our original booking wasn’t provided at this hostel. I would be very wary about booking this hostel in future!

The hostel is pretty nice, in the center of the city with some space outside to relax. The kitchen is a bit ancient and not the best to cook. The water in the shower was cold for the 3 days I stayed. Could be nice to have hot water. But overall, I would recommend the place for one or 2 nights. The staff was very helpful and the value for the price was good!
