Fig and Gecko Hostel

Our unique hostel located in Anuradhapura is a renovated colonial house, naturally cool with an added cooling air system, has a large wooded garden frequented by monkeys, animals, birds, and geckos, is the HQ and accommodation for our Give A Fig Volunteers, and is the center of our freely given education and development work, which includes training orphans in English, and the hospitality and tourism industry. We serve good food, advise on & book tours, and have good local knowledge, offer cookery classes at the hostel, and pottery, basket weaving, and wood carving at local villages. We have 16 bunk beds, 8 in a female dorm. and 8 in a male dorm, 5 twin cubicles, and one en-suite room, and we assure you of a warm welcome.
