Situated in a historic building, we are in the city centre of Palermo near the train station. From our hostel you can go to visit the best and most important monuments in Palermo.
Sunshine hostel offers beautiful and relaxing dorm rooms (two 8-bed female dorms, a 4-bed male dorm, and a 10-bed mixed dorm) for our guests, all with balconies. The booking options still say there is a 6-bed female and 8-bed mixed dorm but the current numbers are the ones in this description :) Our common area/kitchen and terrace are the central points of the hostel and where our guests can easily meet each other and hang out.

Check in from 09:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 11:00 am.
Cancellation policy: 72 hours before arrival.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards.
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.

One of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at! The only upside was the location which was close to the train station!

We arrived and the staff were rude and unhelpful, the bathrooms were extremely unclean (only one worked between all the guests), and the kitchen is extremely basic. The whole place is nothing like the photos (super cluttered and dirty) and it doesn’t have a nice atmosphere at all. The rooms are not secure and there are no locks on the door, and one small fan in each room which was horrible in a heatwave of 45 degrees. Do not recommend this place!
