Hostel Tiradentes has basic clean accommodation in a good location. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and the company is excellent.
My only concern was "cleanliness" since they provide a bottom sheet and blanket but no top sheet - so I'm guessing your blanket has been up close and personal to someone else recently :-(
