Zostel Manali is set amidst panoramic Himalayan views, apple orchards and a gorgeous garden cafe - at the unbeatable location of Old Manali.

Zostel Manali is located right in the heart of Old Manali, the hub of backpackers. In search of peace and breathtaking views of the mountains, we went off-road and built the hostel in the village of Old Manali. The hostel also houses The Garden CafÃƒÂ©, which serves authentic Himachali food.

Every day with us is going to be happening and worth remembering. We have ears for your travel void. Chill out with like-minded people from around the world and travel without hassles and share laughs and experiences.

Before your mischievous minds starts wandering far, let us put one thing real straight, we take the comfort of each and every traveller very seriously. Also, if getting intoxicated is all youÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re looking for, we urge you to look ELSEWHERE. At Zostel, weÃ¢â‚¬â„¢d rather pass and share episodes. ;)

At the top of the hill in Old Manali and through a local area - not really a problem as nice to see the local way of life but you will need a light to see the path and if you struggle with uneven paths and carrying your luggage this isn't the place for you. Not much atmosphere at all but people do sit chatting in outdoor cafe area. Staff quite uninterested. Do not use recommended taxi "Sanju" - was booked but didn't arrive even after calling &waiting 20 minutes. Very cold dorms but blankets help

The Zostel Hostel in Old Manali was well organized, well run & clean. Staff was always present & always glad to assist. The rooms were a good size, with 2 bunk beds & a large bathroom. There were lots of public spaces to sit, relax, play games, listen to music, eat. The atmosphere was lively yet laid-back, with a good mix of fellow travelers, a sense of community around the evening bonfires ðŸ”¥

Music was played far too loud for too much of the day, started pretty early and continued up until 10pm when it was finally turned off! You could hear it in all parts of the hostel at an unnecessary volume, especially when youâ€™re eating breakfast and the speaker is turned on high right next to where youâ€™re sitting! Other than that a pleasant place to stay!
