Our youth hostel can accommodate 55 people in nice, colourfully decorated non-smoking rooms. You can choose between:
- double / triple rooms,
- standard 4 Bed Apartment,
- standard 4 Bed Family Room,
- standard 6 Bed Apartment,
- standard 8 Bed dormitory Room.
LOCATION
Simbol Hostel is set in a quiet and green part of South-Eastern Ljubljana. A leisurely 10 minute walk to the beginning of the old part of the town centre (Church of Trnovo) and the Ljubljanica river. From there you get to the town centre, walking through the old part of the town centre past many pubs and restaurants along the Ljubljanica river. If you want, you can take the bus to the city centre (only few minutes away).

ARRIVAL
Our reception works from 8am to 11pm
We can arrange check in also during the night but you have to inform us in advance. If anything changes in your arrival also please let us know.
IMPORTANT (confirming of arrival)
Please inform us of your expected time of arrival and confirm your booking until 5pm the latest on your day of arrival. In case you don't do that we will cancel your booking.
TOURIST TAX
Tourist tax (3.13 euro per person per night) is not included in the price.

The guy that works in the evening was very rude and kept calling me "my friend" in a rude way. The kitchen is not sufficiently equiped, but it's ok. Besides that, really enjoyed the stayng!

SUPER CLEAN hostel. It actually felt fine to walk around barefoot. We only stayed one night but we watched the cleaning ladies make the place spotless. Not sure if it’s that clean every day though.
SECURITY seemed a bit lacking. You needed a keycard to get in the room but there was a side door to the lawn and it was left wide open for airflow. There was no fence around the property so anyone could walk in. The main door opened automatically and I believe it was just unlocked all night.

Room smelt of drains, building not safe (wires/sockets hanging so couldn’t really charge phones etc) not fit for people to stay in. Didn’t feel safe (no lockers, room lock wasn’t working)
