The project Casa Kayam Hostel springs from a multicultural meeting between art and travel enthusiasts: Jerome and Loren. From our synergy, a welcoming and friendly hostel for travelers and artists was created. Come and spend a few days with us in the heart of the nature.
Casa Kayam Hostel is located in the heart of the nature (20 min walking from the town), close to a river. A range of activities are offered in the area, such as horse riding, cycling, rappelling waterfall, paragliding, climbing, kayaking and many more...
We offer different type of accommodation:
- Vidpovo: 8 beds dorm with bathroom inside,
- Gusto: private room for 2 persons (possibility of additional bed) with private bathroom,
- Tusi: 4 beds dorm (shared bathroom),
- Audo: 8 beds dorm (shared bathroom)

Check in from 14:00 to 22:00
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival.
Breakfast not included.
General:
No curfew.
Child friendly.
Reception available from 08:00 to 22:00

Place was ok but very noisy. And not just a bit annoying - music, shouting and singing until past 3am and then people chatting loudly at 6am
Not much going on at the hostel as a way of meeting travellers. I saw reviews saying that you need to be a French hippie to enjoy staying here and I felt that. Probably good if you’re staying for a long while but not if you’re passing through for a few days

One of the best hostels I stayed at! Special location outside of the town Guatape and surrounded by beautiful nature, mountains, river, waterfall and the unique lake of the Peñol reservoir. The beds are comfy with warm blankets, the kitchen is big and there is free coffee in the morning. It has a variety of chill areas inside as well as outside with many opportunities to interact like games, instruments etc. Lovely staff and people, super social with great energy. An experience I wouldn’t want to miss!

Amazing set up in peaceful surroundings - these come at the cost of a 30min walk from the bus station but are worth it. Great facilities with several communal areas for relaxing in. Staff were sometimes absent but helpful when around. Rooms were clean. Lockers provided in rooms were a little flimsy but metal lockers available outside the building. Atmosphere was fantastic!
